Job Description
The College of Nursing (CON) at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, the state's flagship research institution, seeks a Graduate Programs Associate who can provide comprehensive administrative support to the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs (ADGP) and graduate faculty within the College of Nursing (CON). The position drafts memos, schedules and organizes meetings, and records and distributes materials. In addition, this position will create travel expense reports, update and maintain student and faculty online program sites, distribute updated Student Handbooks and manage and update materials, forms, and pertinent information for the CON graduate programs.


Responsibilities
Manage the calendar of the ADGP, including scheduling meetings and coordinating communications.

Schedule synchronous Zoom sessions for faculty and program needs.

Coordinate scheduling and logistics for accreditation site visits and other visitors in collaboration with the CON Office of Academic Affairs (CONAA).

Facilitate bi-weekly meetings to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of program tasks.

Provide logistical and administrative support for the Graduate Doctoral Intensives.

Submit update requests on behalf of faculty and ADGP for internal intranet pages, canvas and external web content.

Assist with technology-related requests involving PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents.

Provide committee support (Graduate Advisory Council - GAC) by distributing announcements and calendar invites for committee meetings. As well as preparing and distributing agendas and meeting materials.

Record and write meeting minutes.

Create and maintain electronic and physical files for incoming students.

Maintain Book & Resource Management by collaborating with Course Coordinators to gather book requests.

Manage the Graduate Book Library and its database (Libib).

Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to facilitate faculty award submissions and recognitions.

Support Student representatives (Committee reps, Cohort reps, Mentors/mentees)

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years' experience in a professional office environment or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment visa status.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field

3+ years' of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

UT market range: MR04
